Aurora Charters boasts some of the most reasonable and inclusive rates on the Chesapeake Bay. You may charter Aurora for only $325 per day, in midweek (Mon-Thurs) or $375 per day on weekends (Fri-Sun) and holidays. Significant savings may be had with three day weekend charters at $995 or a full week charter for only $1995 per week. You may also stay overnight the evening before for an additional fee of $50. Charter "days" are any portion of a 24 hour period. Check-in may be as early as 4:00 PM the evening before.
Weekend charters are a minimum of two days. Last minute cancellations within 48 hours of scheduled departure will be charged an administrative fee of $50. A security deposit of $500 is required for all charters, and is refunded within 10 days pending a satisfactory post-charter inspection. If you would like a dinghy and outboard, they are also available for for an additional fee of $25 per day.
A sailing resume is required with all reservation requests. A deposit of $150 will confirm your reservation. Payment of one-half of the charter fee is due 30 days prior, with the balance and security deposit paid in full before sailing. Skippers must demonstrate proof of ability and complete a pre-sail checkout onboard.
We accept cash, certified or cashiers check or PayPal. We are not able to accept personal checks. If you do not have a PayPal account, it is a fairly easy process to set one up, and is very convenient for many online sales processes.
